Don't Let The Pigeon Drive He Bus Game

Mo Willems always brings a lot of fun to our classroom! His books are entertaining and the kids always have a great time. These highly engaging “Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus” themed activities are sure to be a hit with your young learners. See below a list of my recommendation. Hope you enjoy!

Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus Domino Addition Game Students draw a domino and place it in the blank space at the top of the pigeon activity page (laminated or in page protectors). They record the addition fact with a dry erase marker on the activity page. They transfer the equation to the work. The bus driver is leaving for a little while and has one simple request: Don't let the pigeon drive the bus! It won't be easy—this bird is pushy. And he can be very persuasive. First, he'll ask nicely and will promise to be careful. Then he'll give lists of reasons why he should be driving. Eventually, he'll just melt down. Created by award-winning Mo Willems, this Pigeon has a bean-filled body of soft chenille with embroidered eyes and velour feet and legs. When the bus driver takes a break, Pigeon bargains with feathers flying, and demands 'Let me drive the bus!' Please, however, don't let this Pigeon drive the bus. The plot is about a bus driver who has to leave so he asks the reader to not allow the pigeon to drive the bus. The pigeon tries many excuses and tries to finagle readers into letting it drive the bus. An animated adaptation of the book won the 2010 Carnegie Medal for Excellence in Children's Video. Based on the hilarious book Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! And the series that developed after that, Disney has created the app entitled Don’t Let the Pigeon Run This App! The book by Mo Willems has been given recognition on the New York’s best seller list as well as landing a spot on the National Education Association’s “Teacher’s Top 100 Books for Children” list; so it’s.
